Context

Ortho Labs came to us with a familiar problem: demand that moved faster than their automation could. A walk-away prep station now handles 1,800 vials a night with zero cross-contamination events.

Approach

We started with a two-week shadowing sprint on the floor, recording every edge case operators handled by instinct. Those recordings became the first training set for the cell, and the operators became its teachers.

Outcome

Within the first quarter the cells reached 0 on contamination events, and the team now adds new tasks without writing a line of code.
